My client at this award-winning, innovative, international boutique-sized company is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and practical marketing assistant to help with a wide array of marketing projects across a portfolio of brands, from packaging to TV advertising. Capable of stepping up when my client is away, you will be a proactive self starter, terrific at forming strong relationships at all levels, with a variety of people from agencies to international distributers.
If you’re looking to use additional European language skills, this would be the perfect role for you, but this is not essential.
Your role will include:
Implementing trade and consumer brand plans
Implementing packaging changes and innovations across all markets
Liaising with international markets to support their marketing plans
Updating the websites
Liaising with PR and creative agencies
Implementing new product launches
Monitoring and analysing European market sales figures
Monitoring competitor brand activity
Working with UK sales force to optimise brand distribution
Your relationship-building skills will be fundamental to this role, but in addition, you will require:
A relevant degree
A genuine passion for marketing
Creativity
Ability to apply creative ideas practically, with measurable effects.
Demonstrable, successful experience in a similar role
Knowledge of consumer markets, ideally UK or International
Competence and initiative to take control of projects where required
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Good written and presentation skills.
